Inclement Weather School Closing Information

We are approaching the time of year when inclement weather could cause possible school closings. In case of inclement weather during the day, school may be released early. It is very important that parents have plans for younger children when school is dismissed early. In the event a parent is not or cannot be home, arrangements should be made for the child to stay with a friend or neighbor. Please plan ahead and notify the school office, as well as, your students teacher and bus drivers of any alternative emergency dismissal plans.
Inclement weather closing information will be broadcast on local KC television stations (4,5,9,41). We will also use the district text messaging service; parents please be reminded that if you have already signed up for our "get a text" program your information will be carried over to the 2011-2012 school year. If your phone number or cell carrier has changed please notify us as soon as possible so we can up date your information.

Include the following information. Your cell phone number and the cell carrier you use.
Shortly thereafter, Mr. Brinkley will send a text to you confirming your enrollment. If you do not get a test text, please contact the office.
