East Lynne #40 Receives Distinction in Performance Award
East Lynne 40 School District was recognized at the Distinction in Performance banquet held Monday, March 26, 2012 at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. East Lynne was one of forty schools in the west central region of the state recognized at the banquet. This award is in recognition for the 2011 Annual Performance Report for all public schools. The APR serves as the report card to the public on how well school districts are meeting state standards for academic performance.
This recognition is reserved for K-12 school districts that meet at least 13 out of 14 performance standards and K-8 districts that meet at least 6 out of 7 (EAST LYNNE MET SEVEN OUT OF SEVEN). Districts also must meet all academic standards tied to the 2010-2011 Missouri Assessment Program (MAP Test) results.
East Lynne will begin the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP Testing) in mid-April. Student performance on these tests will be essential for the East Lynne 40 District if we are to earn the Distinction in Performance Award in 2012. It is our goal to achieve this status every year!
