There is nothing better than having a front row seat to learning in action. Today, our first graders came to visit and share their Reader’s Theater with me, and it was such a joy. They practiced their reading, used great expression, and showed so much confidence as they brought the story to life. Thank you, first grade, for letting me be part of your audience!

❤️🐾 Showing Up for Jack 🐾❤️

This week, our neighboring communities are wrapping their arms around Jack, an Archie student, as he begins radiation treatments.

Archie and Harrisonville will be hosting a Hat Day this Wednesday in his honor, and we want to stand right alongside them in support.

So this Friday, our Cougar Hat Day will carry a little extra meaning. Students and staff can bring $1 or any amount to wear a hat, and we will be donating all proceeds to help Jack and his family during this part of his journey.

It doesn’t matter what town you’re from, when someone needs support, we show up. Let’s make Friday a strong one for Jack. 💙
