Third grader, Luci Schrock, is working hard to finish her sketch for the annual art show.
When students are finished with their art work they also create an artist statement. This process helps them put their thinking into words — explaining their choices, ideas, and the meaning behind what they created.
Writing about art strengthens vocabulary, reflection skills, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly. It’s powerful to see students not only create… but explain the story behind their work!

Platinum Level Sponsorship
Let's give a standing ovation to Hunter’s Pride Construction for stepping into the spotlight as a Platinum Level Sponsor of our Center Stage Drama program!
Hunter’s Pride Construction doesn’t just build strong structures; they help build strong opportunities for our students. Their generous support helps provide costumes, sets, props, and the behind-the-scenes magic that brings our productions to life.
Because of community partners like Hunter’s Pride Construction, our students have a place to shine, grow in confidence, and share their talents with the community. That’s an investment that lasts far beyond the stage.
Thank you for believing in our students and helping us keep the show going!

This week we celebrate someone who makes a difference in ways that don’t always show up on a schedule, a gradebook, or a lesson plan — but are felt in the hearts of our students every single day.
Mrs. Holden, our school counselor is a safe place, a calm voice for our staff and students. She helps students navigate big feelings, tough friendships, hard days, and important decisions. She listens without judgment, encourages without limits, and reminds our kids they are seen, valued, and capable. She supports teachers, partners with parents, and helps create a school where every child can belong and grow.
The impact of a counselor isn’t always loud — but it is powerful and lasting.
Thank you, Mrs. Holden, for the care you give, the time you invest, and the countless lives you touch. Our school is better because of you.

The School Board Candidate Filing ended on December 30, 2025.
There were three positions with three-year terms available. The following individuals filed for candidacy:
Incumbent Susan Vaught
Molly Brackeen
Cory Yoder
In accordance with Missouri law, because the number of candidates who filed is equal to the number of positions available, there is no need to hold an election. Candidates will be sworn in at the School Board Meeting on April 14, 2026.
