When students are finished with their art work they also create an artist statement.This process helps them put their thinking into words — explaining their choices, ideas, and the meaning behind what they created.
Writing about art strengthens vocabulary, reflection skills, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly. It’s powerful to see students not only create… but explain the story behind their work!

Congratulations to our staff and students of the month for November and December!
Congratulations to our Middle School scholars for their academic achievements for second quarter.
Some of our 5th graders were able to present their inventions tonight at our January board meeting. Each year our 5th graders participate in an Inventor's Fair. The top winners are then invited to share their inventions at one of our board meetings.

Thank you to Corporal Ewing from the Missouri State Highway Patrol for spending time with our 8th grade physics class today! He spoke with our scientists about how his job relates to Newton’s Laws of Motion and the importance of seat belt usage. Corporal Ewing, we are grateful that you are a part of our Learning Community!

The School Board Candidate Filing ended on December 30, 2025.
There were three positions with three-year terms available. The following individuals filed for candidacy:

In accordance with Missouri law, because the number of candidates who filed is equal to the number of positions available, there is no need to hold an election. Candidates will be sworn in at the School Board Meeting on April 14, 2026.
