Touch a Truck was a a lot of fun today! Thank you Miss Brittney, our Parents as Teachers coordinator, did a great job getting some great trucks this year!

The 6th-8th graders were able to participate in the Children's Literature Festival on Tuesday. We were excited to see many famous authors and illustrators and learn from them.
Grandparents Day is coming up soon and we would love to know if your child' grandparents or special person will be joining them. We have a fun-filled afternoon planned and hope you will join us!

Shout out to our band and choir director, Mrs. Katie Schork who was able to guest conduct a song at the 5th/6th Grade All District Choir Concert in Warrensburg. The regularly scheduled clinician was unable to attend and some of the district teachers stepped up.
We are told she had the whole crowd engaged! 🎶 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻

John Magoffin from Royal Roofing and Solar was a guest teacher in our 8th grade physical science class today. In addition to being an expert on solar energy, Mr. Magoffin is also a teacher! His lesson on the electromagnetic spectrum and light energy tied in perfectly to our studies on the different types of energy. Thank you, Mr. Magoffin, for being an important and valuable part of our learning community!!l
Today is a Monday PD day & we're hard at work participating in a variety of sessions targeting math fluency and crisis prevention.
For the 23-24 school year, our Monday PD days have focused on safety, critical thinking, math, social/emotional learning and personal wellness.
A sweet and special thank you to our parent booster group for treating everyone to ice cream on Friday!
