Seventh grade scientists exploring the little things in life with a microscope lab! 🔬🦠🧫

One of the beautiful things about a K-8 learning community is the opportunity our older students have to connect with our younger students. This pic was from last week.
Kade said today. "Skyler is my friend! Do you know her? Did you know she can draw Sonic? She drew one for me."
Everyone. Everyday.

These kids were rewarded today for their excellent behavior! The circus is always a fun day!

We love seeing our alumni on the stage! Center Stage Drama Club was able to see the dress rehearsal for Legally Blonde today at Harrisonville High School. Nice job Katie, India and Kenny!

Today was our health fair and everyone measured up as expected. Thank you to the Cass County Health Foundation and the CCC Nursing Program to help make this run smoothly.

Happy National Parents as Teachers Day! On November 8th we celebrate and acknowledge the important role that parents play in the initial education of their child’s life — every child learns their first lessons at home. This is the day to celebrate the indispensable role that parental involvement plays in a child’s development and ability to realize their full potential! Thank you!
In addition we want to give a shout out to Brittany McDonough, our PAT teacher. She is working hard for our district to provide resources and opportunities for district families! Thank you Brittany for the time and energy you provide on behalf of our learning community!

Do you have a child 5 years old or younger in your household? Be sure and take advantage of this opportunity!
Reading to your child is so important and makes a lasting impact!

These preschoolers' acts of kindness earned them a popsicle party!

Thank you Mr. Muñoz from Lyric’s Taekwondo class for coming to visit us Friday! We learned about respect and confidence along with a few fun taekwondo moves. Lyric was able to show us some of her moves and our friend Colton even had the chance to break a board with his hand!!
